Usha is a choreographer and performance artist dedicated to creating dance works and researching expressive movement.
While rooted in belly dance, her work moves across traditional dance forms, body culture, and aesthetic philosophy, with a strong emphasis on storytelling and emotional expression.
For her, dance is not merely a technique, but an integrated art form where emotion, culture, history, and bodily awareness intersect.
Through stage productions, teaching, and artistic research, she continues to explore the evolving possibilities of physical expression.

Message from Usha
Dance is a means of expressing emotions that words cannot fully convey. Movement reflects a person’s memories, emotions, and cultural background. Learning to dance is not only about mastering form and technique, but also about engaging with one’s own inner sensibility.
She values the ability to feel and the courage to express just as deeply as the development of technical skill.

Usha’s note
Several years ago, this was where I shared written courses and learning materials. Moving forward, I plan to use it as a place to store short columns, reflections, and thoughts that may not fit into a blog but are worth preserving.

UshaKara
A gathering for those who love to sing. This is a closed community circle. UshaKara creates a space for releasing the heart through singing, held approximately once every three months.
